What sets iHearty apart is its ability to seamlessly integrate with your smartphone. By simply attaching the smart cover, iHearty listens for signals around you and communicates vital health information to your phone. This continuous contact with your smartphone allows iHearty to acquire useful data about your health.

The smart cover is equipped with a dedicated set of sensors that monitor various aspects of your well-being. These include cardio frequency, temperature, and O2 saturation sensors to track your body's vital signs. Additionally, iHearty features ambient sensors that measure humidity, pressure, and UV index to monitor the conditions of your surroundings.

Constructed with an ABS shell and electrodes, iHearty is both durable and reliable. Its compact dimensions of 54mm width, 94mm height, and 9mm depth make it convenient to carry with you wherever you go.

Using iHearty is simple. Once you connect it to your phone, the accompanying application starts monitoring your heart rate, temperature, and O2 saturation. The ambient sensors work continuously to measure the quality of your surroundings, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of your overall well-being.

The iHearty project began in February 2014 in Milan and was completed in January 2015. It was exhibited at the "Fondazione Filarete" in September 2014, showcasing its innovative design and functionality.

Not only does iHearty offer real-time health monitoring, but it also serves as a life-saving device. In the event of a heart attack, iHearty can automatically call emergency numbers, providing them with your physical state and precise location. This feature ensures prompt medical assistance when every second counts.

The creative challenge for Ettore Giordano and Biocubica was to create a device that is not only useful for our health but also easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. With iHearty, they have successfully achieved this goal, offering a smart cover that saves lives and enhances well-being.
